The Gospel from A-Z in Romans
Class Synopsis: Some Christians who assume God will give a pass to people never told the gospel, think mission is unnecessary. Some Christians think they are better than others. Some Christians don’t believe God’s being fair if He elects who will be saved. And some think that if He elects, it doesn’t matter if we are or aren’t Christ’s witnesses. Some Christians know the word grace but not its freedom. And some Christians act as if grace is God’s gift card to sin. For all these maladies we have Romans. No Bible book better helps us understand, delight in, and proclaim both the beauty and ferocity of the gospel. Although opening with the tragic tale of humanity’s mutiny against God and moral collapse, it progresses to the unearned but wonderful grace gift called the gospel that God offers to repentant sinners. What God says to His children in Romans can enrich your love for Him and inspire your witness to others.
