You likely know the feeling. We say something, do something, or think something that is sinful. You weight it and know it wasn’t loving to God or to other people. A guilt pierces your conscience and immediately you wish you could take it back. What do you do in that moment? Seek to quickly move on and act like it’s no big deal? Wallow in the guilt and shame of what an awful person you are? God invites us down a much better path when we sin and need forgiveness. We neither have to avoid our sin or dwell in our sin. We can take it to God, confess it to God, and freely receive the forgives Jesus has secured for us. This leads us not to despair and distance in our sin, but to renewed joy and communion with God which gives us strength to continue to live for Him.
Psalm 32, 51

Take the MomentumYes! course! Each week you’ll watch three 8-9 minute videos followed by group discussion. (No, there’s no homework! 😊) Learn about the momentum behind God’s work around the world, and roles you could play in it without ever leaving home.
Gain God’s heart for the world’s people! At “Pray for the Unreached” on September 15th at 7 PM in Fellowship Hall South, we’ll pray for the 117 million Buddhist Japanese in japan.
$10 All You Can Eat Wings! Men of Keystone, bring a friend and join us for the 7th Annual Men's Wing Night on September 18th, from 6:30pm to 9pm at Keystone Church. Come if you like to eat chicken wings. Come if you like to hang out with other dudes on a Friday night. Come if you don't like either of those, but the Lord wants you there to be encouraged or encourage another!
Are you looking for a time to chat with friends and have someone pray for you? The Women's Ministry is hosting a series of informal fellowship events for women over age 18.
We want girls to realize their impact on each other, focus on the inward beauty you can only achieve with the help of Christ. And pray that joy, peace and love from the Father can radiate through to the people around us.
